The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging will hold two Public Hearings during the month of October 2017. The purpose of the meetings is to gain input into services needed for our aging population within the 15-county Northwest Georgia service area. Information received will assist in developing future Area Agency on Aging planning.

The 2020 US Census is approaching and an accurate count can benefit your government, since census numbers are used in the distribution of funds for infrastructure, programs and services. The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission is offering assistance with the Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA) process that proceeds the 2020 census in 2018. Cities and counties in the NWGRC region may call LUCA Coordinator Gretchen Lugthart at the Dalton office, 706-272-2300. See the below attachments for more information on the LUCA program.
