Due to the inclement and uncertain wintry weather conditions in our fifteen-county region, a decision has been made to postpone the meeting of the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission (NWGRC) Council scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 2016. The meeting is being rescheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at the Gordon County Agricultural Service Center, located at 1282 Highway 53 Spur, S.W. in Calhoun.
The meeting of the Nominating Committee also is being rescheduled for 10:30 A.M., immediately prior to the NWGRC Council meeting, also at the Gordon County Agricultural Service Center. The Nominating Committee will recommend a slate of officers for 2016 and 2017, which subsequently will be voted on by the Council membership.
